Ive had great experience with the staff, quality of my apartment, and friendliness of all of my neighbors from the day I moved in!
Great Value for the Price
$2300/month for a 3 bedroom with pretty good appliances, an in-unit washer/dryer, nice hardwood floors, two floors and two bathrooms. The upstairs living room area is very large and is great for having guests over, even with 10-15 people it doesn't feel very cramped and because it's on the second floor of the unit you don't need to worry as much about being too loud for your neighbors. It's in a pretty good location about 20-25 minutes from the loop by train, 10 minutes by car. There's a blue line and bus stop within one block of the apartment, and a Jewel and Lowes across the street. There's plenty of good restaurants nearby in Wicker Park. The only downside I can really think of is the temperature difference between the two floors. In the winter or in the summer with the AC on it can sometimes be so cold that on the same day you'll need to wear a sweater downstairs and shorts and a tank top when you go upstairs. We were able to mitigate some of this by closing all the upstairs air ducts in the summer and opening all the downstairs ones (and vice versa in the winter), keeping the upstairs skylights permanently open (even in the dead of winter), and buying window sealing foam strips to put over a few of the downstairs windows (the ones by the dining room especially let in a ton of cold drafts).
